Woman unleashed fury on rain shower heads after sickening experience

Nail technician’s rage at ‘sexist’ rain showers that are ‘lovely’ for men but ‘unenjoyable’ for women: ‘All of us hate them’

  • Ally Rooker is tired of dealing with ‘inconvenient’ rain shower heads
  • ‘All women hate them,’ she declared

A woman has earned applause after revealing her disdain for rain showers, dubbing them a ‘sexist abomination’.

Ally Rooker says she gets a stiff neck and sore back every time she has the ‘misfortune’ of staying at a hotel that has a rain shower in the bathroom.

Rain shower heads are typically mounted on the ceiling and spray water down vertically with mild pressure to mimic the feeling of rain.

But, according to the professional nail technician, this is only enjoyable for men.

Women, she complained, have to bend and duck to avoid getting their hair wet.

‘This is for whatever council of men decided tp put rain showers in every hotel room in the country,’ she began in a video.

‘Women do not like rain showers and this is not an enjoyable experience.’

Ally said that while they might barely be a hindrance to men, women have different bathing needs.

‘I’m sure this is a lovely experience for men, but women are over half the population of this planet and we don’t enjoy this.’

‘Women have a lot of hair and sometimes we take showers without washing it – we don’t want to get our hair wet every time.’

She claimed it was practically impossible to use a rain shower without getting your hair wet.

Ally said that she does not want to use the hand-held showerhead because it reminded her of a hose.

‘I’m not a child in the backyard with a bucket,’ she said. ‘I’m an adult, I’m not taking a shower with a hose just because it’s not hair wash day.’

But her complaint extended beyond just the placement of the showerhead.

‘Even if we do get our hair wet in the shower, this is not an enjoyable contraption,’ she said.

‘Women like to take hot showers we like the scalding water to wash over our skin. To do that with this thing is impossible – it comes straight from the heavens into your nose and mouth so you can’t breathe.’

‘You’re standing here washing yourself like head out trying to breathe hunched over,’ she added.

‘And the pressure is never enough to get all the conditioner out of my hair.’

‘I’m tired of my hair getting plastered to my face and still being cold because of the pressure,’ said another.

Another added: ‘I have thick hair and I can hardly get all of it wet because of the pressure – it’s so useless.’

‘I need water pressure like a fireman’s hose,’ agreed another woman.

‘Also, do you just sit in the cold while you wait for the conditioner to set? It’s horrible,’ wrote a frustrated woman.

While others didn’t think rain showers were that much to blame.

‘They have this invention called a shower cap,’ a man wrote sarcastically.

‘I guess I’m the only woman who loves a rain showerhead,’ another said.
