Celebrations are in order for Cher Lloyd who turns 30 today.
The singer rose to fame when she was just 16 years old after she auditioned for the X Factor in 2010. After wowing the judges with her impressive vocals, Cher made her way through the competition, guided by her mentor Cheryl. Up against the likes of One Direction and Rebecca Ferguson, Cher finished the competition in fourth place.
Over a decade on since her first X Factor audition, Cher is a doting mum to five year old Delilah-Rae and is currently pregnant with her second child.
So, as she celebrates her milestone birthday, let’s take a peek at the songstress’ transformation throughout the years…
Cher shot to fame when she was 16 years old after she auditioned for X Factor. For her audition, the TV personality performed an incredible cover of Keri Hilson’s version of Turn My Swag On and received yeses from all three judges.

During the competition, Cher was mentored by fellow pop star Cheryl. Cher made it all the way to the final where she was given the opportunity to perform alongside Will.i.am where they duetted a mashup of I’ve Gotta Feeling and Where Is The Love. Sadly, she didn’t make it to the final three and finished in third place.

During her time on X Factor, Cher was known for her rapping skills and often added rap segments to well known pop songs. Shortly after leaving X Factor, Cher proved that she could pull off any hairstyle as she died her locks bright red.

During her time in the limelight, Cher released two albums – Sticks and Stones and Sorry I’m Late and secured a UK number one single with her song Swagger Jagger.

Away from her music career, Cher has been married to hairdresser Craig Monk since 2013 and in May 2018 they welcomed a baby girl, called Delilah-Rae, into the world. Over on Instagram, Cher has three million followers and often gushes over her family.

Cher is currently pregnant with her second child. Announcing the news back in April, the pop singer wrote on Instagram: "Baby number 2, we can’t wait to meet you".

While Cher has spent recent years raising her young family, it’s clear that music is still in her blood. In 2021, she released the single Baddest and last year she performed at the Big Gale Pride Party in Birmingham.

Despite being over 15 year since stepping foot on the X Factor stage, Cher looks as youthful and as stunning as ever. In one snap posted to her Instagram, she showed of her incredible glossy brown hair, with fans calling her "too perfect".
