Packing for your holidays is always a stressful time. Trying to think about the perfect outfit for every possible occasion while also making sure you’re within the dreaded baggage allowance isn’t easy. To make your life easier, we’ve gathered ten essentials you need for your summer holiday wardrobe.
The key to packing light but still looking stylish is to opt for breezy lightweight items like maxi dresses and floaty trousers, while also sticking with versatile items that can be worn with different pieces to create different outfits. This can be a matching set that can be both worn together as a look and then separately with your other essentials, or a statement midi that can be dressed up or down with different shoes depending on what you’re doing.
Here, our OK! fashion editor Lauren shows you how to style these ten pieces together below…
The swimsuit and cover-up
A one-piece swimsuit is a summer essential year after year and we love that this lime green one from F&F adds a pop of colour to your beach wardrobe. Throw over a vibrant cover-up and grab a basket bag for a beach to bar look.

This vibrant green midi dress from White Stuff can be both relaxed or formal depending on how you style it, perfect for packing in your holiday suitcase. Alongside a midi dress, a straw hat is also a summer staple that you can’t go wrong with. We love this one from Fatface.
