AC MILAN'S leaked third kit could be banned by Serie A due to a new rule, according to reports.
The Serie A giants have stuck with their classic red and black stripes for their 2022/23 home kit, with the away jersey expected to remain white with red and black trim.
However, Footy Headlines are claiming that their third strip is going to be the colour "dark green moss".
But the Puma-sponsored kit appears to have overlooked a key regulation which was announced two years ago.
The rule, which comes into force for the 2022/23 season, makes clear a ban on any green kits – excluding home strips.
The exception for home jerseys means that Sassuolo are able to keep their traditional green and black stripes.

The ban applies specifically to away and third kits – with keepers also still permitted to wear green shirts.
According to Goal, the reason for the new rule is that TV broadcasters complained the players were blending in with the grass when wearing green colours.
Elements of green are allowed on kits providing its not the strip's dominant colour – which it clearly is on AC Milan's leaked jersey.
It remains to be seen whether the Italian champions will now be forced to change their strip.
