The first, which saw Alves simply wearing a shirt with the backdrop of a blue sky, was simply captioned: "Againnnn here!!!"
This subsequently fuelled speculation he was returning to play for PSG after leaving Barcelona last month when his contract expired.
However, this was short-lived as another post followed which revealed that Alves was actually wearing the shirt of Neymar.
The second post to his account with 36.7 million followers was captioned: "Keep Calmmmm Ma people!!! Always with ma brotha!!"
