    Lift from the Gab

Arsenal have been handed a boost to their title hopes after Gabriel Jesus was spotted participating in a training session after the Bournemouth game.

However, the big picture saw Arsenal take a blow with Leandro Trossard going off injured to leave Mikel Arteta’s side with even less firepower.

Brazil striker Jesus has not featured since the World Cup following knee surgery.

Eddie Nketiah missed training and was left out of the team entirely for the Bournemouth clash.

But Jesus’ return to Arsenal training, albeit in a warm-down, could restore the missing firepower the Gunners lack throughout the squad.

The Gunners secured a late comeback victory thanks to Reiss Nelson’s last-gasp effort.

    Fans reckon Mikel predicted 7-0!

Arsenal fans claim manager Mikel Arteta predicted Manchester United's 7-0 hammering at Liverpool.

The Red Devils were blown away by Jurgen Klopp's side and it left them 14 points behind the Gunners at the top of the table.

Still buzzing after their 3-2 comeback win over Bournemouth on Saturday, Arsenal fans even joked their boss can predict the future.

Arteta was spotted on the sidelines against the Cherries, holding up seven fingers.

Poking fun at Man Utd, one supporter posted the photo and added the scoreline from Anfeld to the gesture.

Fans found it hilarious, one said: "Arteta is a genius."

    Another reacted: "Another Arteta masterclass."

A third commented: "He knew all along."

Perhaps being able to see into the future is a talent needed at Arsenal, as even director of football Edu has been at it.

When Arteta was under serious pressure two years ago, the former Arsenal midfielder ensured supporters the "future is beautiful" with the Spaniard in charge.

Gunners 'still confident of landing Rice'

Arsenal still believe they can beat Chelsea and Co to Declan Rice this summer.

That's the claim from journalist Ben Jacobs amid reports West Ham's England midfielder would cost £80million-plus.

Jacobs told Givemesport: The priority for Arsenal does remain midfield, at this point, and they are confident on Declan Rice.

"They know that they are likely to go head-to-head with Chelsea there and my understanding is that Rice would like to stay in London.”

Carra trolls Nev over Gunners' comeback

Liverpool icon Jamie Carragher hilariously trolled Gary Neville following Arsenal’s comeback against Bournemouth.

Despite conceding the second-fastest goal in Premier League history – 9.11 seconds to Philip Billing – Arsenal fought back to claim a last-gasp winner through Reiss Nelson.

And following the game, Carragher took a pop at his Sky Sports colleague, who has been a vocal sceptic of Arsenal throughout the season.

Taking to Twitter, Carragher posted a video with the caption: “Leadership on show 👀.”

In the video, Neville is seen questioning the leadership credentials in the Arsenal squad, particularly summer signing Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Indeed, one part of the video repeats audio of Neville saying: “Zinchenko’s not a leader,” with the Ukraine star leading a team-talk in the background.

    'Tierney for Locatelli' mooted

Arsenal could try to "swap" Kieran Tierney for Italy midfielder Manuel Locatelli.

Locatelli is shining on loan at Juventus from Sassuolo.

Juve have to buy the 25-year-old in the summer but CMW claim the Gunners then want to pounce.

Serie A giants Juventus are reportedly keen on left-back Tierney.

And as the Scot has lost his regular place at the Emirates to Oleksandr Zinchenko, an exchange deal could be attractive to all parties.

Arteta: Reiss at different level now

Mikel Arteta reckons yesterday's last-gasp matchwinner Reiss Nelson has now reached a "different level".

Academy product Nelson, 23, came on to crack a stunning clincher eight minutes into stoppage time as Arsenal won 3-2 after trailing 2-0 at home to Bournemouth.

Boss Arteta said: "I always saw the potential, the talent and the desire for him to do it, but he’s at a different level right now.

"I think emotionally, the experiences that he had helped him.

"Football-wise, it was my decision in the last two games not to play him because we had other options.

"But he was knocking on the door, he’s been training really good and it’s a good lesson for me and for the coaches that we need him and that he can be really important for the team."

    Will to win the title

Ex-Everton defender Ashley Williams has called Arsenal a team “worthy” of winning the title, after their emphatic comeback against Bournemouth.

“I think we’ve seen a team worthy of winning the Premier League,” BBC Sport pundit Ashley Williams revealed.

“We keep questioning them because of recent history and they keep answering us. Days like this win you the title. If they win it, they’ve deserved it.”

    Gunners sweat on Leandro

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has given a worrying update on the injury of Leandro Trossard.

The 28-year-old limped off after just 22 minutes into the thrilling 3-2 win against Bournemouth.

And Arteta has since provided an update on his situation.

He said: “It is a worry, he came to me straight away and said he couldn’t continue.

“He’d felt something when he was tracking back, so we had to take him off.

“We’ll assess him and see how he is.”

    Well I Nev-er

Gary Neville has backtracked on his claim Manchester United will finish above Arsenal this season.

The Gunners have won four on the bounce and are now 14 points ahead of United, having played two more games.

But Neville now believes they cannot be caught by Erik ten Hag's side, despite stating the opposite earlier this week.

Speaking ahead of United's trip to Liverpool, Neville told Sky Sports: "There might be a couple in that dressing room that might think let's hang in there let's see if anyone slips up.

"I don't think they will do it this season I think they're too far off Arsenal and City."

    Ten for Ben

Arsenal fans love Ben White's "s***thousery" after celebrating in Bournemouth goalkeeper Neto's face after Saturday's dramatic comeback win.

The table-topping Gunners found themselves 2-0 down to the relegation-struggling Cherries, falling behind in under ten seconds as a result of a Philip Billing goal.

Marcos Sensei got Bournemouth's second, heading home from a corner, sending the away section into pandemonium.

But a Thomas Partey goal in the 62nd minute set the tone for an almighty comeback.

And despite Neto's best efforts to slow the game down, Arsenal went full steam ahead.

Ben White grabbed the equaliser in the 70th minute and in just under a half an hour later, super sub Reiss Nelson netted a dramatic winner to win the game 3-2.

And after Nelson struck in the seventh minute of stoppage time, White celebrated in Neto's face.

Fans are loving White's reaction to the dramatic winner, with the England international being praised for his top "s***thousery".

One said on Twitter: "Every time goalkeepers waste time during a game we always end up with last minute winning goals.

"I knew it will happen again when Neto kept wasting time."

    Gunner go?

Reiss Nelson could be on his way out of Arsenal this summer, according to reports.

The Hale End graduate was the Gunners hero in their comeback win against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Nelson lashed home an effort in the final minute of the game to seal a 3-2 victory.

However, he may soon find himself out of the door at the Emirates with his contract expiring in June.

This being said, Fabrizio Romano has reported the 23-year-old would "love" to stay at Arsenal.

    Bet on It

Man Utd legend Gary Neville has repeatedly claimed Manchester City would catch the Gunners before the season's end.

However, despite faltering somewhat last month, Mikel Arteta's outfit remain five points clear at the top of the table.

Indeed, Neville even suggested his beloved Manchester United would finish above Arsenal last month.

Owing to the confidence in his prediction, Neville has agreed a cheeky bet with a fan if Arsenal win their first league title since 2004.

A fan on Twitter told Neville to: "Shave his head bald on the Emirates pitch on the last day of the season for charity,” if they win it.

This did not appeal to Neville, who instead offered an alternative by stating: “I will wear an Arsenal shirt saying champions for you my friend!”

Neville then revealed a punishment lays in store for the Gooner if Arsenal falter, as he added: "But if you lose it you all grovel on here and say ‘Sorry Gary’."

    Work of Art

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been praised by fans for the way he dealt with a young pitch invader following the club's incredible 3-2 win over Bournemouth on Saturday.

After going 2-0 down 12 minutes into the second half, the Gunners managed to complete an incredible comeback to steal all three points thanks to goals from Thomas Partey, Ben White and Reiss Nelson.

So the Emirates unsurprisingly erupted as fans celebrated at full time.

But as Arteta made his way onto the pitch, he was stopped by a young child who had climbed over the advertising boards.

After shaking his hand, the Arsenal boss then ushered him to safety.

    Wright stuff

Even for a man with his incredible CV of celebrations, Ian Wright delivered something special when Reiss Nelson fired a 98th-minute winner for Arsenal against Bournemouth.

The Gunners' legend leapt up roaring and punching the air as he danced with arms flailing around before returning to the sofa to wiggle around like a turtle on its back!

Sub Nelson's 25-yarder had capped Arsenal's comeback from 2-0 down, which included an opener after 9.11 seconds from Philip Billing.

And as the Gunners went mad after restoring their five-point lead at the top of the Prem, Wrighty conjured his own amazing response too while watching on a screen in a backroom with fellow pundits.

He rejoiced as if Arsenal had already won the Prem – much to the amusement of Gary Lineker and Co.

    Jesus gets involved in celebrations

Arsenal fans are all saying the same thing after Gabriel Jesus joined in the celebrations following Reiss Nelson's late winner versus Bournemouth.

The Gunners completed an incredible comeback against the Cherries, coming from two goals down to win 3-2 with a 97th minute goal handing the hosts three points.

After the game, Jesus even joined in the team warm-down, jogging across the pitch at the Emirates Stadium.

Fans could not believe that the 25-year-old was back in amongst the rest of the team, topping what was a great day for Arsenal supporters.

One wrote on Twitter: "Glad to see Jesus with the boys… can't wait for him to join in the goals."

Another took a screenshot of Jesus and said: "Tears in my eyes."

A third reacted: "Look at Jesus smiling and hugging the players. This squad is special."

    Morning Gunners fans

Mikel Arteta reserved special praise for Reiss Nelson – the game changer at the Emirates.

The second half substitute made the equaliser for Ben White, before scoring a 96th minute winner.

After the game, the Spaniard said of his team: “They never gave up. There is nothing like sharing those great moments with your people. “I’m so happy for him [Reiss Nelson].”

Although the Gunners boss admitted he completely lost his bearings in the wild celebrations.

“It’s crazy, you lose sight of where you are,” said Arteta after the game.

“I started to run and didn’t really know where I was running to. I saw a kid here next to me, then I ran into security. But just looking in the faces of everybody, the players and our supporters with those smiles, the joy in their eyes, it’s just great.

“It was an extraordinary day, a beautiful experience at the end. Very dramatic, but worth living it, because it was a great end.”

Nelson, himself, talked about his winning goal.

“It dropped onto my right,” he said.

“I wanted to hit it with my laces on my right but I saw the defender coming out, so I decided to shift it onto my left and then just had to hit through it, aim for the top bins – something like that!

“I’m just happy it went in – I’m delighted with it. I didn’t start the game, but I came on with the instructions just to play forward, try and get as many one-on-one opportunities as I can to create something, and I did.”

Emile Smith Rowe was a substitute who was subbed off during the dramatic 3-2 win over Bournemouth.

He lasted less than 50 minutes – with concerns he may have suffered a recurrence of his injury.

However, Mikel Arteta has revealed why he made the decision to sub the midfielder, who has missed five months of the season this campaign, after he had come on initially for the injured Leandro Trossard.

“We didn’t plan to throw him in so early in the game,” Arteta said.

We knew it would be difficult for him to last for 70 minutes after he’d had five months out, but I think he had a good impact. In the end, I felt that we needed something else, especially on the left, as we were attracting more players onto that side so we made the decision to change.”

Reiss Nelson was the hero for the Gunners, making the equaliser before firing home the winner deep into injury time in the 3-2 win over Bournemouth.

The injury-plagued winger may not have been in the squad, if Eddie Nketiah was fit.

But, Nketiah took to Twitter to praise the star for his display.
He tweeted: “Reiss Nelson, game changer!!!”
