SunSport exclusively revealed that the Spaniard is one of eleven players Mikel Arteta is looking to get rid of this summer.
Mari has fallen way down the pecking order at Arsenal with Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba and Rob Holding all ahead of him.
He first arrived in North London on loan from Brazilian outfit Flamengo in 2020 before he made his transfer permanent.
