Serge Gnabry return
Ex-Arsenal ace Serge Gnabry is being linked with a shock return to the Premier League amid uncertainty over his Bayern Munich future.
Gnabry, 28, left the Gunners in 2016 after five years at the Emirates, and an unsuccessful loan at West Brom, for Werder Bremen before joining Bayern Munich in 2017.
According to Nacional, United are lining up a move for the winger ahead of the January transfer window.
It comes amid the ongoing drama surrounding the out-of-favour Jadon Sancho and Antony being placed on leave.

Taking the Mik
Gary Neville has slammed Mikel Arteta for hurting Arsenal on match days by being too emotional on the touchline.
I want to see a composure from this Arsenal team and that's difficult because the manager's on the sideline jumping around like you wouldn't believe.
I want to see passion, but I want to see composure and a coldness, and that feels like a contradiction. But I want to see it in the right moments at the right times. When they scored that second goal.
Bukayo Saka's penalty, which was a beautiful penalty, celebrate it, give your fans something because they want to see it means something.
But there should be two or three senior players in that group saying, 'Right, come on. Switch on now, we're ready and we're going to see this through'. Your mentality kicks in of knowing when a game's in danger.

Set the Tone
Arsenal have identified a backup option for Brentford star Ivan Toney as they are set to be priced out by his club's demands.
The Gunners are said to be interested in signing Toney in the January transfer window once he returns from his FA ban for betting breaches.
But the North Londoners would have to fork out around £80million if they were to get the striker, who could prove to be too expensive.
According to The Times, Arsenal are considering a move for Feyenoord star Santiago Gimenez if they can’t get the England international.

How medicals work
Former Arsenal physio Gary Lewin revealed how the Gunners once used information from a medical to sell a player for a huge transfer fee just 18 months before he was forced to retire through injury.
A medical is to decide is someone fit to sign or not. A medical is a risk assessment: how many games you've played in the last three years, significant injuries you've had in the last three years.
What tends to happen, some clubs use a red, green, amber system. We use a five point grade system where a grade five is a very, very high risk. We then give that back to the club. It's not a yes or no.
We signed a player for about £5million – a well-known international player. He had a cruciate injury 18 months before we signed him.
We did a full medical on him and we saw an orthopaedic surgeon and the surgeon said 'He's got early signs of degeneration of the knee that he's had surgery on, you will get three or four years out of him at this level, then that knee will start to degenerate'.
So we went back to the board, we graded that risk, spoke to the manager, and he said 'We're going to sign him, that's great information to have, I will use that in the future'.
I thought nothing of it. Two-and-a-half years later, we'd won a few trophies and he was a big part of that. We then sold him to another European club for £25m. 18 months after that he retired.

Speaking ahead of this evening's clash with Brentford, Arteta said: “He is incredibly popular. We all love him, it’s no different what the people feel & what we feel about him, but one thing is to be there, the other one is to start & then once you start, you are consistent to stay there & you have to stay fit as well.

Osimhen on Arsenal
Victor Osimhen looks likely to leave Napoli after the club's official TikTok posted two insulting videos about the striker yesterday.
He has removed all photos of him in a Napoli shirt from his Instagram.
And back in 2020, he revealed that he had spoken with former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger about joining the Gunners after he starred in the Under-17 World Cup.
I spoke with Arsene Wenger after the tournament (Under-17 World Cup) ended and he wanted me to come to Arsenal.
I had a lot of options. Barcelona; Inter Milan; Atletico Madrid; Juventus and the rest. Arsenal was a good option but it wasn’t the best at the time. I wanted to start playing as soon as I turned 18.
I wanted to go to a place where I had time to invest in my game and improve physically. Wolfsburg showed me that possibility.
Of course, one day I’d like to play for a big club in England… my priority is to play a lot of games. Signing for a big club and being on the bench is not exciting for me.

James Maddison criticism
Arsenal hero Kevin Campbell hit back at Tottenham star James Maddison after his comments regarding Bukayo Saka copying his celebration on Sunday's North London Derby.
Maddison said: "Me and Bukayo had a bit of banter and a bit of trash talking on international duty.
"And I got told he did the darts celebration – he must have still been doing it when I turned him for the first goal I think, so I'll have a little word with him in there!"
What’s wrong with it? And by the way, James Maddison, I did the darts celebration years ago, so I don’t want James Maddison to think he’s the first one to do a darts celebration.
What I’m saying is, why can’t Saka do it? What’s wrong with him doing it? He did the same thing [Marcus] Rashford did, didn’t he?
This is James Maddison being a bit chippy. And it’s to a mate. It’s alright, it’s no big deal. But if anyone’s got a problem with it, Saka, keep doing it

Emile Smith Rowe future
Arsenal are not rushing into any decision regarding Emile Smith Rowe's future, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.
Interest was always there for Emile Smith Rowe this summer as he’s a talent but there was never any negotiation, despite Chelsea links.
At the moment he is not playing much but it’s too early to say what this means for his future.
For January, we have to see what they decide in December as now the message is very clear:
Arteta is happy with current squad and wants to focus on the next months with these players. No panic.
