ARSENAL have been dealt a major injury blow as midfielder Thomas Partey is expected to be sidelined for THREE MONTHS.
The Ghana national team confirmed reports that Partey had picked up a significant problem during training with the Gunners.
Meanwhile, Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe has been linked with a move away from the Emirates.
Elsewhere, the Gunners' Premier League clash with Everton has been rearranged following the Champions League draw.

Hero Rice like ice says Mikel
Mikel Arteta says Declan Rice was the coolest man in the Emirates when he scored his crucial stoppage time goal to set Arsenal pulses racing in the 3-1 defeat of Manchester United.
The £105million midfielder waited until the 96th minute to score his first goal for the club with a perfectly executed set-piece routine.

“To produce the same level of quality in that moment when the pressure is on is just unique. You need to have that quality, that sense and composite. Declan showed it today and he was outstanding.
“He’s a great kid with a good mixture between being extremely demanding with everybody and himself, having a lot of banter and being around the staff and the boys in a really humble way. So he’s fitting in brilliantly.
“When you look at how a holding midfielder needs to dominate his area and break up play he gelled the team together when they were a bit stretched. Then he produced that magic moment to win us that game.
“When you see the technical ability he has and how he executed that goal, I am sure he can add more goals.
“He has a shooting and accuracy with both feet, the power he generates and the timing to arrive in the box are all there.”

Erik blames defeat on ref decisions
Angry Erik ten Hag claimed his Manchester United team were robbed by a series of dodgy decisions as they conceded two stoppage time goals to Arsenal.
The Dutchman was adamant that Declan Rice’s 96th minute goal should have been ruled and claimed an earlier Alejandro Garnacho effort was incorrectly ruled out for offside.
He moaned: “Everything went against us and many decisions definitely didn’t go our way.
“Let’s start with the Arsenal penalty which was given but then overturned. Everyone can see it’s a simulation by Havertz but he did not get booked for it.
“Then there was a foul on Rasmus Hojlund in the penalty area and I don’t think it was even noticed by VAR.
“Then there was the disallowed goal from Garnacho. I think they looked at it from the wrong angle because from what I could see it was onside.
“And then there is the crucial goal from Rice. How can they allow that? It’s a clear and obvious foul on Jonny Evans and otherwise he could have blocked the shot from Rice.
“So it’s a lot and because of that you don’t win the game.”

Sancho fury with Ten Hag claims
Jadon Sancho has astonishingly fired straight back at Erik ten Hag after the Manchester United midfielder claimed the attacker was left out today due to poor training.

Arsenal & Man Utd fixtures changed
Arsenal’s Premier League clash at Everton has been switched from Saturday September 16 to the following day.
Newcastle’s clash against Brentford has been moved forward a day due to their Champions League game against AC Milan on Tuesday September 19.
Toon were due to play the televised game on the 17th at 4:30pm.
But Arsenal will now play in that slot, with Eddie Howe’s side taking the Gunners’ tea-time Saturday kick-off.
Six matches in total have been moved by the Prem, with more to follow in the coming months due to Aston Villa‘s involvement in the Europa Conference League.
Villa’s visit to Chelsea has been moved to a day later on September 24 because they take on Legia Warsaw three days earlier.
Their involvement in Europe means Villa’s clash with Wolves has also been rescheduled to take place on Sunday – October 8.
Aston Villa vs Luton has also been switched to a Sunday and been allocated a 2pm kickoff.
Manchester United’s Champions League commitments also means they have had a change to their fixture list.
Sky Sports have picked their game against Sheffield United to be shown live on TV, but it can no longer take place on Sunday as the Red Devils face Copenhagen the following Tuesday. United will now face the Blades on Saturday October 21 at 8pm.

Mikel Arteta has bizarrely compared Kai Havertz's struggles to how he met his wife.
After a dramatic 3-1 win over Manchester United, the Arsenal manager explained his unusual pre-match pep talk to the £65million summer signing form Chelsea.
Arteta told Sky Sports: "I said to him yesterday, things are hard in the beginning.
"When I met my wife, in the beginning it was hard to conquer her and I had to try and keep messaging.
"In the end, she said yes, she wanted to be together and it was beautiful.
"If it is a yes on the first day, it is not that great.
"I think the crowd was really good with him today."
But Havertz came under fire on social media following a terrible miss – with some fans even claiming his form could damage Arteta's reputation.

'Keane & Micah in heated argument with fan'
Shocking footage has showed the moment Manchester United legend Roy Keane and ex-City star Micah Richards got involved in a heated argument with a fan at the Emirates Stadium.
The pundits were part of Sky Sports' coverage for Arsenal's 3-1 win over United.
But Richards, 35, and Keane, 52, found themselves at the centre of an incident outside of their television duties.
Viral Twitter footage showed Richards, who was wearing a black backpack, angrily collaring a man who allegedly assaulted Keane.

However, the fan was prevented from inflicting serious physical damage on the Manchester United legend, according to MailOnline.
A man wearing a suit is then seen trying to separate the pair before Keane moves across while shouting something inaudible.
Keane and Richards were reported to have been making their way to carry out their post-match duties for Sky Sports.
The duo were eventually escorted down to pitch side were they were able to continue their broadcast with utmost professionalism.

'Dalot scared of Saka'
Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel claims Diogo Dalot was "scared" of Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka as the Red Devils lost 3-1 at the Emirates.
Saka provided an assist as two stoppage-time goals sent United to their second defeat in four Prem games.

“(Lisandro) Martinez shouldn’t be running towards what he is doing. He should be running towards where the error is. (Christian) Eriksen should be running back and covering for him. But he doesn’t. He runs the other way, Martinez and takes himself out of the game.
“I think Dalot looking a little bit scared of Saka.
"When defending, a lot of the time, it’s about putting fires out. You put one fire out and don’t think about the next one, until you have to put it out.”

Neville 'encouraged' by Rasmus debut
Gary Neville reckons Rasmus Hojlund had an "encouraging" Manchester United debut – but says comparisons with Erling Haaland are unfair.
Old Trafford legend Nev also believes the striker, who came on for the last 23 minutes of the 3-1 loss at Arsenal,needs more support.
The ex-England defender told Sky Sports: "Manchester United have not had a striker they can hit. Ronaldo was not a classic target man, Martial and Rashford certainly aren't, but it looks as though he will mess people about. The good thing is that he's still learning the game.

Thomas Tuchel claims the exit of Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool target Benjamin Pavard was "like losing two players".
Inter Milan beat a host of Prem giants to sign the versatile Bayern Munich defender last week.

The 23-year-old England winger was told to stay at home by manager Erik ten Hag and didn’t even travel to London after coming on from the bench in United’s previous three games.

“You have to reach a certain level every day at Manchester United and we can make choices in the front line. So for this game he was not selected.”

He said: “Anthony Martial had a good game but when Hojlund came on he definitely had an impact.
“He was a very good target and so difficult to play against. He made very good movements in behind, he was close in the box with his finishing and he should also have had a penalty.”

'Dock Arsenal points for cheesy choice'
Arsenal have been slammed for playing Vanilla Ice after their dramatic Premier League victory over Manchester United.
The Gunners beat United 3-1 at the Emirates thanks to a stunning comeback following Marcus Rashford's opener on 27 minutes.
The North Londoners' captain Martin Odegaard equalised just a minute later and Mikel Arteta's side sealed the win with two goals during stoppage time.
Arsenal's £104million record signing Declan Rice scored his first goal in the sixth minute before Gabriel Jesus secured the three points five minutes later.
However, the triumphing hosts picked a peculiar way to celebrate beating United as they played Vanilla Ice's cheesy hit song from the 90s Ice Ice Baby.
Of course, this song is now associated with a popular chant the fans sing to praise Rice.
However that wasn't enough to win over other supporters who were so put off they quipped a points deduction is in order, especially after the home crowd sang along.
One fan tweeted: "Arsenal need docking the points they’ve just won for playing Vanilla Ice and all their fans singing along to it."
Another commented: "That's not enough, Straight to the Hague." A third posted: "Arsenal should get docked points for playing Vanilla Ice there."

Gunners' fans leaving early trolled
Arsenal fans have been brutally trolled after some fans left The Emirates early during their 3-1 victory over Manchester United.
The Gunners left it late to secure all three points with Declan Rice striking to make it 2-1 in the 96th minute.
Gabriel Jesus then scored another to add insult to injury for United with a 111th minute goal, making it 3-1 to Arsenal.
But a number of Arsenal fans weren't in the stadium to join in with the pandemonium of the late win.
After Rice's last gasp winner, a camera above the Emirates picked up a number of fans who had already left the game.
A few of them threw their arms up in celebration having heard the roar from The Emirates but most were too embarrassed to join in.
Sky Sports posted a still of the image on Twitter with the caption: "Reminder: Never leave a game early."
One fan replied to the tweet saying: "Especially when Maguire and Evans are in defence." A rival fan trolled the Arsenal fans that had left, saying: "Shocking fan base."
A third said: "People like this don’t deserve a ticket, if you’re comfortably losing it’s understandable but at 1-1 it’s embarrassing."

Evans 'n hell as fans lay into Jonny
Manchester United fans slammed Jonny Evans after his disastrous second club debut.
Evans and Harry Maguire came on at 1-1 before two stoppage-time goals gave Arsenal a 3-1 Emirates' win.
And fans had little confidence as soon as the duo were brought on.
One said: "Maguire and Evans partnership – hold me."
Another added: "We’re actually having Maguire and Jonny Evans as our CB against Arsenal."
One joked: "Johnny Evans-Harry Maguire. What is life?" Another fumed: "I am speechless."

AARON RAMSDALE: Beaten again by the first shot on target but couldn’t be blamed for this one. Important second-half save to deny Martial but he surely must have thought he was going to be busier than this. 6
BEN WHITE: Still scarred by the chasing he got from Marcus Rashford last season, he was guilty of standing too far off the United man and giving him too much time to pick his spot for the opening goal. Got forward well to support Saka. 6
WILLIAM SALIBA: Anthony Martial will be haunted by his fellow Frenchman in his dreams after this monstering. Saliba won their battle all ends up and looks to be getting stronger with every game, although he still has an occasional mistake in him. 7
GABRIEL MAGALHAES: Finally back in the starting line-up due to Partey’s injury and clearly had a point to prove. A powerhouse in the middle of the defence and absolutely relished his physical battle with Hojlund when the big Dane came on for a late cameo. 7
OLEKSANDR ZINCHENKO: Like Gabriel, this was his first start of the season and it didn’t take him long to get right back into the groove. So comfortable on the ball, he was always looking to join the midfield while still keeping a close eye on Anthony. 6

RESULT: Arsenal 3-1 Man Utd
Declan Rice rewarded Arsenal's superiority and wealth of corners with a 97TH-MINUTE strike – before Gabriel Jesus made it 3-1 six minutes later.
Rice's effort appeared to deflect in off off United sub Jonny Evans.
Martin Odegaard had brilliantly and instantly cancelled out Marcus Rashford's 27th-minute opener.
Arsenal then had a penalty for a challenge on Kai Havertz overturned – before United sub Alejandro Garnacho saw his goal ruled out for offside.
Rice put the Gunners up and sub Jesus caught United out on the counter-attack.
