Centre-back Philipp Lienhart missed Austria's first two Nations League games with a fever and it remains to be seen whether he will return for this one.
Ralf Rangnick will have to decide whether to stick with the 4-2-3-1 formation or revert to the 3-4-1-2 that proved so successful in Croatia.
Marko Arnautovic, Sasa Kalajdzic and Karim Onisiwo will be competing for the starting berths up front.
Raphael Varane has been withdrawn from the France squad through injury and replaced with Liverpool's Ibrahima Konate.
Kylian Mbappe could return to the starting line-up after missing the Croatia game with a minor knee injury while N'Golo Kante may also return to the starting XI.

Deschamps’ wealth of riches a conundrum
Kylian Mbappe was not involved on Monday as a precaution after sustaining a minor knee injury against Denmark earlier in the week.
The PSG talisman was taken off at half-time so the medical team could investigate further.
Mbappe could be in contention for a start this evening along with Karim Benzema and Antoine Griezmann who were on the bench for the last game.

Welcome to Austria vs France
Holders France travel to the Ernst Happel Stadion in Leopoldstadt to face Austria, still looking for their first win of the Nations League campaign at the third time of asking, Les Bleus have only amassed one point from their two opening games and currently sit five points behind leaders Denmark.
Austria centre-back Phillip Lienhart has missed the opening two games of the Nations League due to a fever and it remains to be seen whether he will return to the matchday squad today.
David Alaba, however, was able to start and play the full 90 minutes last time out after suffering with fitness issues and is expected to stay in the starting XI.
Austria have plenty of competition up front with Arnautovic, Sasa Kalajdzic and Karim Onisiwo will all be competing for the lone striker spot.
As for France, Raphael Varane has pulled out of the squad due to hamstring injury and has been replaced by Liverpool’s Ibrahima Konate, who will be hoping to make his international debut at centre-back.
Deschamps is set to make a number of changes which could see Ngolo Kante, Hugo Lloris, Lucas Hernandez and Jules Kounde return to the starting line-up.
