Bayern Munich to return with FOURTH bid for Harry Kane but it STILL falls short of Tottenham valuation of striker | The Sun

BAYERN MUNICH are set to lodge a £94million bid for Harry Kane, according to reports.

Tottenham yesterday rejected the Bundesliga side's most recent offer of £86m.

Kane, 30, wants his future decided before Spurs' Premier League opener against Brentford on Sunday.

It's been suggested that the England captain could now stay at Tottenham, despite his contract expiring at the end of the season.

According to talkSPORT, Bayern will test their resolve by bidding for a FOURTH time.

Their next bid is expected to be worth around £94m – £6m short of Spurs' reported £100m valuation.

Kane is not believed to be actively agitating for a move away from North London this summer.

And Spurs chiefs are said to be "relaxed" about the situation.

Kane has captained Tottenham in all three of their pre-season friendlies under Ange Postecoglou – scoring four times in the 5-1 win over Shakhtar Donetsk on Sunday.

The Lilywhites headed to Spain earlier today to take on Barcelona – although Kane has not travelled with Postecoglou set to name a much-changed side.

Kane is believed to have been impressed by Spurs' new boss and the quality of his training sessions.

Asked about the possibility of playing Kane against Brentford, Postecoglou said: "There's no doubt I'd use Harry.

"He's a fantastic striker, one of the world's best. The way the team plays will help him.

"He loves scoring goals, we created a load of chances today and he was the beneficiary."

Tottenham announced their seventh and eighth signings of this summer earlier today.

Defender Micky van de Ven arrived in a £43m deal from Wolfsburg, and was quickly followed by teenage Argentine striker Alejo Veliz.

Spurs have been linked with a host of forward players despite their bloated squad – including Gift Orban and Brennan Johnson.
