BBC presenter Alex Scott wows on the red carpet in elegant dress at glitzy Legends of Football event | The Sun

BBC presenter Alex Scott wowed on the red carpet as she wore an elegant dress to last night’s Legends of Football event.

A host of stars turned out for the glitzy bash at London’s Grosvenor House.

Chelsea women’s boss Emma Hayes and Arsenal icon Ian Wright were both recognised for their efforts in the beautiful game, with money raised going to music therapy charity Nordoff and Robbins.

But it was Scott who stole the show upon arrival.

The ex-England star turned heads as she walked down the red carpet in a glamorous black dress.

Scott left one leg loose as she completed the look with hooped earrings.

And later she took her seat with the other guests for a night of fundraising and frivolity.

It was just the latest hit fashion statement from Scott, who kicked off the start of the Women’s Super League season with a bold red jacket.

Before that, she took to the air on Football Focus in a stunning blue dress.

And Scott also let her hair down in a daring see-through bodysuit while attending a Kylie Minogue concert.

However, she has recently been embroiled in a spat with former Football Focus host Dan Walker, who lamented the show’s decline on Twitter.

He said: “It’s hard to see Football Focus struggling. I loved it growing up and it was an honour to present it and I still miss it.

“We poured everything into that show each week and worked hard to keep it relevant. I hope it stays part of the TV landscape.”

This prompted Scott to reply with a GIF while adding: “Interesting.”

Walker responded: “I’m not saying you haven’t Alex. It’s a saturated market and it’s hard work every week. I hope you have a good show today.”

Scott took a shot at Walker after the episode went out, saying: “Thank you to everyone who tuned into Football Focus, your support for such an iconic show means so much to everyone who works across it.

“Viewing figures double that of anything on TV at that time yesterday.”
