FANS have slammed the BBC over their coverage of the World Snooker Championship.
The tournament is usually aired on BBC Two but some action from the first round has been moved.
On Saturday evening Ronnie O'Sullivan's clash with Pang Junxu was initially shown on BBC Four.
But it was switched to the Red Button and replaced by a Danish crime drama, much to the frustration of fans.
On Sunday morning there was more cause for complaint as World Snooker Championship coverage moved from BBC Two to the Red Button – missing out on a BBC One spot due to a repeat of Homes Under the Hammer being shown.
That prompted more backlash with furious fans venting their anger on social media.

One wrote: "Snooker World Championship has been taken off BBC 2 again, could have moved to BBC1 but no, there’s a repeat of Homes Under the Hammer on there. The BBC treat snooker like s*** every year."
Another added: "The BBC's coverage of the world #snooker championship has been shocking today. It went off TV early this morning.
"And those watching the action tonight will have to do so via the BBC Red Button after Ronnie O'Sullivan was replaced on BBC Four at 9pm by a Danish crime drama…"
A third said: "The coverage of the snooker by the BBC is really poor, wish @itvsnooker would get hold of it and show them how it could/should be broadcast."

And another commented: "Poor show for the snooker coverage. Only the first session of Ding vs Vafaei being shown then getting diverted to Discovery+ which "is free to Sky subscribers".
"Well the snooker isn't and they want £6.99 a month. So it's either that or the Red Button on BBC (which isn't in HD). I despair."
