FABIAN EDWARDS will be envisioning making history by joining his brother as a world champion when he steps into the cage tonight.
No brothers have ever held world titles at the same time across multiple major MMA promotions.
But if Fabian, 30, beats Gegard Mousai in Bellator 296 main event tonight then he will be a step closer to writing his legacy in stone.
Leon, 31, retained his welterweight crown with a points victory over Kamaru Usman at the O2 Arena in March.
Siblings like Anthony and Sergio Pettis, and Patricio and Patricky Freire, have all held world titles, but never at the same time.
Fabian told SunSport: "I can never put these things into words, it would means a lot.

"Thats a motivating thing for this fight.
"I know when I beat him I’ll be fighting for the title so when I'm training, sparring, grinding it out that keeps me pushing because I know I need to make this history happen."
Fabian was born in Jamaica but moved to the UK around the age of eight.
In Jamaica, his father was the leader of a gang which saw the brothers exposed to drugs, gun violence and murder.

The family moved to Britain for a safer upbringing, but Edwards' father was tragically killed in a shooting in London.
That led the brothers down a turbulent path and into the world of gang violence in Birmingham, before MMA became a lifeline to them.
Fabian credits the Edwards legacy in MMA to their tough upbringing.
He added: "We draw energy from the people around us so the hard upbringing in Jamaica and even in Birmingham it wasn't easy.
"It's a hard way of life as well but having that type of people around you builds character.
"Going back to my brother’s last fight, in that fifth round it showed his character.
"Seeing that energy and knowing you can achieve it from Birmingham, you don't have to go America.
"Believe in the team and you can get it done."
