MANCHESTER UNITED are set to unveil Casemiro ahead of their clash against Liverpool.
It is believed the defensive midfielder decided to join the Red Devils after speaking with Raphael Varane on a daily basis.
The duo were both part of the Real Madrid squad that won three back-to-back Champions Leagues and the Frenchman has played a key role in convincing Casemiro out of Los Blancos.
He was persuaded by the opportunity of a new challenge and an agreement happened quickly highlighting both parties' eagerness to get the transfer done.
Man Utd have splashed £60million on the 30-year-old with the deal potentially rising to £70milliion if clauses are met.
He is set to be on around £375,000-a-week, more than Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho and similar to what David de Gea earns, claim The Athletic.
