NORWICH are being tipped for a swift return to the Premier League by winning the 2022/23 Championship.

The Canaries are favourites with Betfair to win the second tier and bounce back at the first time of asking.

Norwich endured a poor season in the top flight last year, finishing on just 22 points.

They have been labelled a side not good enough for the Premier League but too good for the Championship and they'll hope to show that at least part of that is true once again..

They will almost certainly find themselves towards the summit of the Championship as they look so seal a quickfire return.

What do the odds say?

Norwich City lead the way at 9/2 to win the league with Betfair, with fellow relegated side Watford next at 6/1.

The Hornets finished just a point ahead of Norwich after a dismal end to the season which saw them win one game since February.

Norwich are 6/4 to win promotion in general, with Watford just behind at 17/10.

West Brom are expected to be towards the top of the table as they look for a route back.

They are 9/1 to win the league, along with Sheffield United, Middlesbrough and Burnley. All three clubs can be backed at between 11/4 and 3/1 to gain promotion.

Sunderland finally managed to get back to the second tier having been left in League One since their relegation in 2017-18.

They are 9/1 to make it back-to-back promotions and 40/1 to do it by winning the title.
