Chelsea fans ALL say the same thing as Graham Potter sends first message to supporters on club’s TikTok page | The Sun

GRAHAM POTTER delivered his first message to Chelsea fans via the club's TikTok account yesterday.

But many of their followers still clamoured for old boss Thomas Tuchel in the comments.

Potter, 47, signed a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge just one day after their ruthlessly sacked Tuchel following the 1-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb.

Addressing supporters on social media, Potter said: "To all Chelsea fans, it's a huge honour.

"I'm incredibly proud, incredibly excited to be here – really looking forward to meeting you all.

"Really looking forward to working with the players, providing a team that is competing and winning and something that you're going to be proud of."

Another added: "Tuchel forever."

Some fans tried to be a bit more upbeat about their appointment.

One diplomatically put it: "Guys Tuchel didn't deserve to be sacked but we gotta move on he's not coming back, embrace Potter and support him, he will do good for this club."

A second similarly added: "I miss Tuchel but we gotta move on."

Potter will take charge for the first time tomorrow night when the Blues host RB Salzburg in the Champions League.

Upon being appointed, the former Brighton boss vowed to "build relationships" at Stamford Bridge.

He said: "I think that you have to understand that they're human beings first, and the key thing is to try understand them.

"Understand what motivates them and understand what they're like as people, and then, from that, try to come to some common ground, try to build relationships, to try to communicate effectively on a daily basis and build respect, trust and honesty."
