CHELSEA fans are raving about their latest wonderkid Kendry Paez after he scored his first goal for Ecuador.
The teenager has played just twice for his country and produced an assist on his debut against Uruguay last month.
Now he has gone one better by opening the scoring in a 2-1 win over Bolivia to put Ecuador within a point of an automatic qualification spot.
In doing so he has become the youngest goalscorer in Conmebol World Cup qualifying history – breaking the record set by Pele.
The 16-year-old was played through on goal by another Chelsea star, Moises Caicedo, and he showed brilliant composure to slot the ball past goalkeeper Carlos Lampe.
Caicedo also grabbed an assist for the winner to leave Blues supporters gushing about the pair.

That is because he is not allowed to officially join the club until he is 18-years-old.
Until then Paez will continue to play for Independiente del Valle in Ecuador, where he is already a first-team regular.
