CHELSEA owner Todd Boehly has backed his side to beat Real Madrid comfortably in their Champions League quarter-final tie.
The Blues head to the Santiago Bernabeu for the first leg after losing to Wolves 1-0 in Frank Lampard's first game in charge as interim boss.
Boehly was spotted coming out of a restaurant in Madrid and was asked by a reporter for his score prediction ahead of tonight's huge game.
The American seemed confident, replying; "Chelsea is going to win."
When asked by how much, he said "3-0."
Real Madrid come into the game as heavy favourites and Boehly's prediction left fans shocked.

One said: "He's so crazy. Real Madrid are gonna win 4-0."
Another reacted: "He must be joking."
A third added: "That is going to age horrendously."
Some Chelsea fans are desperate for his prediction to come true, one said: "Just be right for the memes."

Boehly was then chased down by Sky Sports, who asked what his message is to the fans.
He replied: "Have a lot of faith and we are going to win 3-0 tonight."
Questioned on if he had any regrets about his dealings at the club so far, Boehly responded: "We look at this as a very long-term process, we have a lot of work to do and we are excited about the future.
"The future is bright and we are excited about tonight."
