CHELSEA are lining up a shock alternative to Raphinha after the Brazilian snubbed the Blues for Barcelona.
The London club have now reportedly turned their attention to Burnley's Maxwel Cornet as they hunt for attacking options in the transfer window.
Talksport report that the Ivorian is searching for a new club after Burnley's relegation and could be heading out of Turf Moor this summer.
A clause in his contract means the winger could be available for as little as £17.5m.
Cornet has impressed at Burnley and registered nine goals and one assist in 26 Premier League matches last season.
His turn of speed and finishing ability could make him an option for the Blues, who also remain in hot pursuit of Raheem Sterling as they look to strengthen up front.

The 25-year-old can also offer versatility in defence, with Cornet spending much of his time at former club Lyon operating as a left-back.
The shock move for Cornet comes as it appears Chelsea's attempts to land Raphinha are running out of steam.
It looked as though new Blues owner Todd Boehly had landed his man after agreeing a £55million deal with Leeds.
But Barcelona have re-emerged as a threat to their pursuit and the Leeds winger appears to have his heart set on the Nou Camp.

They are reportedly close to selling Frenkie de Jong to Manchester United in a £67m deal, while they are also trying to land their top target Robert Lewandowski from Barcelona.
Chelsea also have their eyes set on Ousmane Dembele who they are looking to claim for free.
