GOAL! Chelsea 1-1 Man City (Silva, 29)
What a response from the hosts!
Chelsea 0-1 Man City
Cole Palmer went into the book during that minute of chaos.
The midfielder was caught interfering with the penalty spot.
Marc Cucurella was also cautioned after giving away the penalty.
Stamford Bridge is a little stunned.
GOAL! Chelsea 0-1 Man City (Haaland, 24)
Erling Haaland scores from the spot! Was he ever going to miss?
He stepped up and sent Robert Sanchez the wrong way, slotting calmly into the bottom left-hand corner.
Mauricio Pochettino is not a happy man.
PENALTY!
City have a penalty! That is very controversial.
VAR drama strikes again and Jamie Carragher is seething.
It looked harsh, in fairness. Marc Cucurella had his arms on Erling Haaland but the striker also gave as good as he got.
There was also a collision involving Reece James, with VAR also checking for a foul in the build-up by Jeremy Doku.
Chelsea 0-0 Man City
SAVE! Enzo Fernandez looked to work the ball out to Nicolas Jackson, but a deflection instead found Conor Gallagher.
The midfielder let fly at range but Ederson watched it all the way.
The ball certainly sat up, but it was a simple enough stop.
Chelsea 0-0 Man City
Effort on target for City.
Patient play saw Julian Alvarez pick up the ball in space down the inside right channel, with Marc Cucurella blocking his shot.
Alvarez then whipped in the corner and found Josko Gvardiol, whose header was scooped up by Robert Sanchez.
Chelsea 0-0 Man City
Cole Palmer should have done better!
Chelsea again broke away with the ball and threaded a dangerous attack down the channel, with Palmer invited to cut inside.
He duly did so but, with several team-mates around him, opted to pull a low effort across the ground, which was blocked with ease.
Rodri, rather curiously, then looked to nod back to Ederson, with the goalkeeper bailing him out. All a bit untidy.
Chelsea 0-0 Man City
Pep Guardiola won’t be happy with how his side have started here.
A City corner broke down and Raheem Sterling was able to scamper down the flank before feeding Nicolas Jackson.
From there, it was a straight sprint race up against Kyle Walker, with the experienced full back winning comfortably.
Chelsea 0-0 Man City
Chelsea have been right at the races so far.
Julian Alvarez was fortunate to escape a booking for tugging on Enzo Fernandez’s shirt, but the Blues were eager to play on.
A ball in behind released Marc Cucurella, whose cross was deflected behind. Ederson then claimed the resultant corner.
Chelsea 0-0 Man City
A rapid start from the hosts, who flew out of the blocks.
Reece James picked up the ball on the edge of the area in space, but his effort cannoned off Ruben Dias.
City then dealt with the danger.
KICK OFF!
The ball is rolling!
We will remember them
On the referee’s whistle, a loud roar went up around the ground.
We’re now moments away from getting underway.
Let’s do this!
A minute's silence
Stamford Bridge has fallen silent on Remembrance Sunday.
A lone bugler is playing the Last Post on the pitch.
Players and officials are wearing shirts embroidered with a poppy.
A deeply touching, poignant moment.
Teams are out
Here come the players!
Poch on Palmer
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino speaking to Sky Sports…
'It's too soon to talk too much. He's still young but he's a very talented player.
'He has to mature and have more experience but his profile is very good and he has the capacity to be our playmaker with the way he links the team.
'He's an important player for us but we can't talk too much. We need to give him time to learn and to improve.
'In a few years, let's then see if he's the big player that we want.'
Old friends
It’s a huge evening for this man…
Cole Palmer lines up against his former club.
Will he impress at the expense of Pep Guardiola?
Under the lights
Both sides are currently warming up ahead of this showdown.
Erling Haaland will certainly hope to add to his impressive goal tally this season, while the hosts will aim to sting on the counter-attack.
We’re all set for what is shaping up to be a classic!
I’m predicting plenty of goals.
Reece James his his say in the matchday programme: 'We know that if we want to climb the table, we HAVE to start winning games at home…'
The Chelsea captain has had his say in today’s matchday programme.
In his captain’s column, James said: ‘We know that if we want to climb the table, we have to start winning games at home.
‘We’ve dropped too many points here this season and that is something we really need to tighten up on.
‘We can make a huge step towards putting that right with a win today.”
He adds:’So far when we’ve played against teams in the top four this season, we’ve performed well, and winning that game (against Spurs) was a huge step in the right direction.
‘We want to build on it and keep picking up results.’
Pep Guardiola reveals Cole Palmer rejected his offer of more playing time at Manchester City to join Chelsea
Pep Guardiola says Cole Palmer spurned his offer of more playing time at Manchester City to sign for Chelsea last summer.
Whatever the nuances, there will be motivation on both sides at Sunday’s Stamford Bridge reunion between the world’s greatest manager and the 21-year-old talent who defied him.
Palmer had started only three Premier League games when he left the club he joined aged six. In contrast, he has begun the last five for Mauricio Pochettino — scoring three goals — and is a decent outside bet to make England’s squad for the Euros.

Team news is imminent…
Pep Guardiola's side are in the building
Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino have been on opposing sides for 30 years… their relationship has always simmered and will come to the fore again when Chelsea host Manchester City
JACK GAUGHAN: By the end of this season, it’ll be 30 years that Mauricio Pochettino has been going at it with Pep Guardiola on and off. From Espanyol to Chelsea, from Barcelona to Manchester City.
Captains on opposing sides in Catalonia. Then ‘the Harry Kane team’. Then the VAR-affected Champions League quarter final. There is a steady stream of scrapes between the two of them.
Pochettino was always a Jose Mourinho acolyte, bonding over their mutual dislike of Barca. But unlike Mourinho, this relationship with Guardiola has always simmered rather than boiled over.
