Chris Eubank Jr has offered to pay for a ‘distraught’ fan to have a tattoo of Conor Benn removed from his body.
This weekend’s highly anticipated clash between Eubank Jr and Benn was called off on Thursday after Sportsmail broke the bombshell news that Benn had tested positive for banned substance clomifene.
Co-promoters Hearn and Kalle Sauerland – as well as both Eubank Jr and Benn – on Wednesday insisted they still planned for the fight to go ahead, before official confirmation came through that the fight was off.

Benn could now face a ban of up to four years, with Britain’s anti-doping chiefs poised to formally investigate the positive drug test.
The 26-year-old has been heavily criticised over recent days and upset many of his fans including one Twitter user who had a tattoo of Benn on his abdomen.
They tweeted a photo of the tattoo and said: ‘I’m absolutely distraught @ConorNigel you were my hero and now I’ve got to walk about with this rest of my life as I can’t afford laser treatment to remove it. Broken hearted.’
Eubank Jr noticed the tweet, and replied, and said he would ‘sort everything out’ for the fan

He said: ‘Don’t worry mate I’ll pay for your tattoo removal. Just shoot over your info to my team & I’ll sort everything out for you. Email is in my bio.’
The user is yet to respond to Eubank Jr’s kind offer.
