CONOR MCGREGOR sailed past a school of dolphins on his luxury yacht as he made his way to Ibiza.

The MMA superstar has been making the most of his beautiful £2.1million Lamborghini yacht this summer, sailing around the south of France with his young family.

But McGregor set sale for the Balearic Island of Ibiza on Sunday, where he had a picturesque encounter with a group of dolphins and whales.

The UFC's poster boy shared a series of snaps and videos of his vessel sailing past the dolphins to his Instagram page.

The post's accompanying caption read: "My yachts are on their way to Ibiza for my birthday.

"Here is an aerial view of the Lamborghini one that came across some huge whales on it’s way.

The celebration will be a hard-earned break from the painstaking recovery he's been making from the broken leg he suffered last July.

The Notorious shattered his left leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier but is seemingly on course to return to the cage this year.

McGregor resumed kicking with his compromised leg last month and has since begun mixed martial arts training at SBG Ireland in Dublin.

A date for the Irishman's return hasn't been set, although UFC president Dana White is anticipating a winter return for Mystic Mac.

When recently asked where McGregor's next fight will take place, the MMA mogul told Jim Rome: "It’ll be in the cage.

“Conor is looking to come back at the end of this year, early next year.”

He added: "When I do talk to Conor, Conor wants to fight.
