INDIA vs New Zealand has been suspended after heavy fog descended on the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Stadium in India.
Play was stopped with India 100-2 and chasing New Zealand's score of 274.
The unprecedented scenes led to players from both sides walking off the pitch with the fielders completely unable to see the ball.
Usually with poor weather during evening matches, a light reading can be taken but the fog made that impossible.
There was worry about whether the game would be able to be resumed due to the need for a breeze to lift the fog.
Fortunately that then arrived and after a 20 minute pause in proceedings and play resumed.

They are struggling to follow up anything even close to their 2019 heroics on home-soil that saw them win the tournament at The Oval.
