Cristiano Ronaldo brutally rejected by English club after claims of him leaving Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr this summer | The Sun

A NON-LEAGUE side have brutally rejected the chance to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner joined the Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Nassr in December following the ripping up of his contract with Manchester United.

However, he reportedly wants to leave The Kingdom as girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez is allegedly unhappy and eager to return to Madrid.

He has, however, had one club take themselves out of the running to sign him.

Bromley took their chance to have a bit of fun at the expense of the former United star.

Non-league sponsors Vanarama tweeted a mocked-up image of Ronaldo wearing a Bromley shirt, captioned: “It's not too late if you want to play in white next season, @Cristiano,” with the pair of eyes emoji.

And Bromley's social media account brilliantly responded: “Nah, you're alright.”

This led to fans being in hysterics online as one tweeted: "Don’t blame you after the season you’ve had 🤝😂."

A second wrote: "We gonna talk about rejections then nothing's more brutal than this💀."

A third commented: "I agree, not good enough for Bromley, you can do better."

A fourth said: "LOOOOL W from the best team In the division."

While a fifth added: "When Bromley don’t even want you. Then you really are finished."

It is the latest blow Ronaldo has suffered since his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

Since joining Al-Nassr, he has shown decent scoring form, netting 12 goals in 15 games but has seen the team fall from first place.

Ronaldo would favour a move back to Real Madrid, but Spanish outlet El Nacional claims that Los Blancos are only willing to offer the 38-year-old an ambassadorial role at the club.
