BRIT DANIEL DUBOIS has WON the WBA heavyweight world title after a fourth-round KO victory over Trevor Bryan.
In a quite comical show run by legendary promoter Don King, Dubois looked cool and commanding throughout the bout.
Dubois had not been in action since a win on the undercard of Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley back in August.
The Brit decimated Joe Cusumano in a round to claim his second victory on the bounce under trainer Shane McGuigan.

Story of last night
Dynamite Daniel Dubois demolished Trevor Bryan inside four thrilling rounds and called for a cracker with Dillian Whyte last night.
The 24-year-old Brit went back to States for his second consecutive fight on US soil and robbed the American of his watered down version of the WBA heavyweight title, with an almost perfect display to move to 18-1.
With WBC king Tyson Fury enjoying a year off to decide his next move and Anthony Joshua rematching Oleksandr Usyk for his old WBA, IBF and WBO crowns this summer, the four major titles are tied up.
So DDD wants a UK homecoming against one of our top stars and trainer Shane McGuigan said the 34-year-old Brixton Body Snatcher is the chief target.
With his new belt over his giant shoulder, the powerhouse purred: “It feels brilliant, I have worked so hard for this and I finally knocked him out.

Dubois wants Whyte
"It feels brilliant, I have worked so hard for this and I finally knocked him out.
"It will be amazing to get home, I can now make massive fights in the future.
"Bring them all on because now I am ready."
Trainer Shane McGuigan says Dillian Whyte is the chief target – and any other big UK name if the Body Snatcher is not interested.

Daniel Dubois WINS – KO R4!
Amazing violent controlled finish from Dubois.
A left hook almost takes Bryan's head clean off but he bumbles about like a scene out of Homer Simpson's boxing career.
Then just before the round ends another left-hook scorcher absolutley ends Bryan and a little clubbing right finishes it all of off.

Bryan vs Dubois – R3
Dubois almost has it won!
A booming right hand robs Bryan of his senses and he almost collapses.
Credit to the champion for staying upright as Dubois swarmed him.
Dubois rushed in a little bit by Bryan was clever and tied him up and leaned right back on the ropes.
Huge round for DDD. Is the end night for Bryan?

Bryan vs Dubois – R2
Bryan finally shows up and starts throwing back.
One one-two evens seems to stun Dubois slightly but he it sparks him into another attack.
DDD drives a left hook into Bryan's belly and then the American complains of a head butt.
Dubois ends the session with Bryan pinned to the ropes and surviving.

Bryan vs Dubois – R1
Bryan plays up to the crowd, but pumping his right fist just causes his flab to wobble.
Dubois starts by fizzing out his vicious jab and tagging Bryan.
It American almost stumbles toward the deck in the first minute.
Dubois' dad then yells "put it on him" and Dubois launches his first attack.
Bryan's defance is decent though, he bobs and uses a shoulder roll. But barely throws a punch.

Bryan vs Dubois – R1
Bryan's American fans chant "USA, USA".
And one dude yells out "his eye is damaged" telling Bryan to target the Dubois orbital bone Joe Joyce broke in 2020.
I can barely see sod all from here, so bear with me.
Fancy Dan clips him early so just have to hope he happens on our side of the ring.

DDD enters the ring
Draped in purple and flanked by trainer Shane McGuigan and Francis Warren, Daniel Dubois reaches the ring.
A big glug of water and the mouthguard goes in.
Vaseline smeared around the eyebrows and the 24-year-old Brit looks ready to cause serious harm.
- Wally Downes Jr
Not long now?
The ring is full of feather-wearing show girls, singers, flag-bearing soliders and Don King.
We feel on the cusp of a very smooth start to the main event.
Don just put his hand in his pocket and fullde out a little plastic toy orb with a little light inside in.

Anthem mania
I believe we are going to have the national anthems of America, the UK and Ukraine – and perhaps a couple of other curveballs.
And then move swiftly on to the Hokey Kokey, Hey Macarena and What Happened to the Manx Cat's Tail.
Then – and only then – will we see some boxing.

Helluva URL
Anying in America who wants to buy the show tonight needs to head to DONKING.COM.
A wonderful website domain when written down.
And a real joy to say out loud without much of a pause between names.

Last orders
Apparently the referee has just gone in to give Dubois his final instuctions for the fight.
After telling him break cleanly, obey his commands and protect himself at all times, he adds: "And don't you dare start trying to nick America's freedom, peace and prosperity".
Don King clearly still so powerful.
- Wally Downes Jr
King and Queen
He's sending his best wishes to the Queen now.
I hope she's watching.
"We love the UK but we want peace and freedom. Don't come in here and try to take them away from us."
I am not entirely sure that's what Daniel Dubois was planning.
- Wally Downes Jr
The British are coming!
Don King says tonight's main event is really a rerun America's 18th century fight for independence from Britain.
He doesn't go into the details.
Left that topic now and moved on to school shootings.
- Wally Downes Jr
Countdown
Have to assume DDD vs Trevor Bryan is next now.
The heavyweight clash has to start after Davies vs Leach finishes in Telford.
Too risky to throw on another undercard fight now, in case it goes long.
So now we are just getting Don King interviewed again.

Hot Rod!
The winner says: "I let my hands go a lot and he was brave and difficult.
"But I got in the flow and my corner told me to box and the KO would come.
"Then I got him hurt and the referee stopped it.
"I will fight anyone next."
- Wally Downes Jr
Rodriguez wins R3 TKO!
Rodriguez obliterates the brave American's chin and manages to catch him a couple more timed as he wobbles back onto the ropes, before his skinny legs give way.
Adams somehow beats the count and tries to carry on and as Rodruigez runs across about to demolish him, Adams falls down and thankfully out of danger.
The crowd call for the fight to be stopped and Adams' corner shamefully don't throw in the towel.
But referee Christopher Young makes another good decision and ends the slaughter.

Rodriguez vs Adams – R2
More of the same as Rodders keeps clipping Adams and this time does hurt him.
A right-hand lands and is followed up by a left hook.
But Adams – taller, thinner and looking more vulnerable – swallowed the shots and kept cracking back.
The score is 2-0 to Rodriguez.
- Wally Downes Jr
Rodriguez vs Adams – R1
Fair play to Adams, with five defeats on his record, I thought he would get on his toes and survive.
Instead he has walked Rodriguez down and been tagged aplenty.
What a brave journeyman, really trying to win against a red-hot favourite.
Rodriguez's left hook looking like the honey that hurts Adams a couple of times.
- Wally Downes Jr
Curveball
Donald has cleverly moved fight eight down into this slot.
We're going to watch Luis Rodriguez vs Ryan Adams next.
Six-rounds of middleweight tomfoolery.
Rodriguez looks a bad man with all eight wins coming inside the distance.
Adams could be going over very early.
- Wally Downes Jr
The waiting game
About an hour to kill now as Don King has run out of fights.
The one and two rounders flew by so now the MC is just naming people in attendance.
Riddick Bowe, Michael Moorer and Riddick Bowe the highlights.
But then he started going through the cleaners and bar staff.

One to watch
Keep your eyes on Raynel Mederos.
A dangerous switch-hitting Cuban trained by Jorge Rubio.
Only one stoppage in six previous wins but looked a killer in Miami just now.
You certainly wouldn't want to trying nicking his packed lunch.
- Wally Downes Jr
Mederos wins TKO – R2!
Mederos slashes body shots into Wilson and he drops to the floor.
The American bravely beats the count and goes again.
But the ruthless Cuban jumps straight back on him and thumps him back to the canvas.
Referee Christopher Young wisely calls a halt to the battering.
- Wally Downes Jr
Mederos vs Wilson – R1
Mederos lands the first serious right hand.
Switch hitter Mederos starts orthodox but flips stance midway through the opener.
The Cuban is the slicker boxer with more ideas and effort.
But Wilson looks schooled and defensively sound. Let's see if that lasts under regular attacks.
- Wally Downes Jr
Raynel Mederos vs Ryan Wilson now
Sneaky little four-rounder now.
Never seen or heard of anyone called Raynel, I like it.
Mederos is a 6-0 Cuban and Wilson has only had one previous pro fight.
These super-lightweights are tall dudes, lanky.
