It was a dramatic final leg that saw Kleermaker whistle his final shot just wide of a double 15 – leaving Sherrock the chance to snatch the victory with her next trip to the oche.
Sherrock had three match darts with just a double 18 to nail, but with her second she sunk a four – leaving herself on double 16. Sherrock hit the double, and let out a sigh of relief in the tense 5-4 encounter.
