ENGLAND meet familiar World Cup enemies USA in the group stages of the 2022 Qatar showpiece.
The Three Lions infamously drew 1-1 with the Americans 12 years ago at the South Africa World Cup in Bloemfontein.
And the two sides are set to do it all over again in the Middle East this winter.
USA failed to qualify for the last World Cup, while England reached the semi-finals, where they were knocked out by Croatia in extra-time.
Gregg Berhalter's side will be desperate to make an impact similar to the one they made in both 2010 and 2014, where they reached the knockout stages.
But England are hoping to win it all, so Southgate's men will need to be laser-focused against a hungry USA side.

What happened last time?
England last played the USA at a major tournament at the World Cup in South Africa 10 years ago.
The Three Lions' opening game of the tournament was against Bob Bradley's side, who put in a very commendable performance in Bloemfontein.
The game got off to a good start for England, however, as after four minutes, Steven Gerrard put England in command with a slotted finish.
But just before half-time, Clint Dempsey equalised with a long-range effort that was spilled by goalkeeper Rob Green.
The gaff has gone down as one of the worst moments in England's history at the World Cup.
USA topped the group and Fabio Capello's side were eventually knocked out by Germany in the last-16.
Bradley's men also lost in the last-16 to Ghana.
