Erling Haaland jets off to Marbella and enjoys dip in the sea after Man City's win over Bournemouth | The Sun

ERLING HAALAND celebrated Manchester City's 4-0 win over Bournemouth by jetting off to sunny Marbella.

The 21-year-old superstar enjoyed a dip in the sea on Sunday while holidaying in the Spanish seaside resort.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola gave his players some time off following their routine win over the Cherries on Saturday.

His side are already top of the Premier League just two games into the new season.

And Haaland didn't waste time in flying out for a mini-break to Spain.

The £51million summer signing was spotted walking along the beach and swimming in the sea, with plenty of stunned fans stopping to take pictures of the goalscoring sensation.

He was seen heading into the sea ahead of a female companion.

Looking like a prime James Bond, Haaland showed off his muscular physique as he emerged from the waves in a pair of black Dolce & Gabbana designer swimming trunks.

It's unclear how long Haaland will spend in Marbella before heading back to Manchester.

But with City back in action away at Newcastle on Sunday, Haaland won't have too much downtime on his hands.

The Norwegian international will also be hoping to be more involved when he returns for the clash against the Magpies at the weekend.

Haaland touched the ball just eight times and completed two passes in Saturday's win over Bournemouth.

Although one of those passes was an assist for Ilkay Gundogan's opener.

The other being the second the kick-off at the start of the second half.

Haaland did net an impressive double in City's opening win away at West Ham, and a relaxing break could be exactly what he needed to help him come back with a bang on Sunday.
