Fans react as UFC champ Jon Jones reveals problems 'wiping' his bum after undergoing surgery following brutal pec tear | The Sun

JON JONES has revealed the brutal reality of undergoing pectoral surgery – which has left him struggling to keep his backside clean.

The UFC's heavyweight champion went under the knife last week after tearing his right pectoral muscle in one of his final training sessions before his Madison Square Garden showdown with Stipe Miocic.

Jones – who will be on the sidelines for eight months – has kept his legion of social media followers up to date with the ordeal, sharing pre and post-surgery snaps on his Instagram stories.

MMA's pound-for-pound king's latest update came in the form of a video of himself with bandages on his right shoulder.

And he followed that up with a tweet revealing he's struggling to wipe his backside

He wrote on X: "Who would’ve thought wiping my ass with my right hand would be so difficult."

Another chimed in: "Champ problems."

When told by a fan that he had shared too much information, Jones replied: “Sorry guys, but the struggle is real.”

Injury to Jones before what was expected to be his farewell fight has paved the way for Brit Tom Aspinall to face Sergei Pavlovich for the interim heavyweight title.

The UFC plans to book Jones vs Micoic at some point in 2024, with International Fight Week in July the most likely spot for the clash of legends.

Hall-of-Famer Jones fully intends to fight again, although he claims when he'll do so is out of his hands.

He wrote on X: “If you want to make God laugh, tell Him about your plans.

“I hate the hard times, hate adversity. But, love being a man that gets to represent tenacity and refusing to quit.

"I believe even my haters have a hard time not betting on me. I’m not a man to count out. Best days are still to come.”
