ONE Betfair punter was celebrating to the tune of £16,000 after landing a quite remarkable Royal Ascot bet.
It's even more extraordinary given the betting genius landed the mega returns off a £1 each-way double!

The win came on Ascot Gold Cup day, which will go down as one of the greatest in the fixture's history.
King Charles got his first Royal Ascot winner in race two, before a Ryan Moore special on Warm Heart in the Ribblesdale that followed.
Then Frankie Dettori stole the show with a win on Courage Mon Ami in his final Gold Cup appearance.
There was still time for Hayley Turner to get a win on favourite Docklands in the fourth before Tom Marquand – who won on the King's horse – bagging a double in the sixth.
But it was the top and tail of the race card that bagged this punter's sensational bet, starting with Valiant Force in the opener.
Rossa Ryan rode for Adrian Murray to land the Norfolk Stakes pretty comfortably despite the 150/1 odds.
The punter then had an agonising wait until the finale at 6.10 to see if his second pick, 100/1 chance, Witch Hunter, would back up that outrageous first selection.
Witch Hunter then came with a storming run down the middle under Jamie Spencer to win well, too.
That saw them collect a staggering £15,900 from their £2 stake.
