'He epitomises Conte' – Watch Tottenham fan favourite Romero scream in James' face after equaliser against Chelsea | The Sun

CRISTIAN ROMERO screamed in Reece James' face after Tottenham's late equaliser at Chelsea.

The London derby ended 2-2 after Spurs skipper Harry Kane headed a late leveller.

As his team-mates ran to the away corner to celebrate, defender Romero made a stop to confront James.

Sky Sports cameras caught the moment the pair came face-to-face in what was a heated grudge match.

Romero pulled a similar move in March when he screamed in the face of Manchester United captain Harry Maguire.

One fan tweeted: "Romero at it again once we scored. In the face of Reece James. He epitomises Conte."

Twice Tottenham came from behind as Kalidou Koulibaly opened the scoring before Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg made it 1-1.

James then thought he had snatched three points by finishing home on 77 minutes only for Kane to nod home late on 95 minutes.

Controversy struck just before a Romero was caught pulling Marc Cucurella's hair right in front of referee Anthony Taylor.

No foul was given and Spurs would go on to score, sparking outrage amongst fans online.
