HORSERACING has plunged into mourning after Coroebus suffered a life-ending injury after a shock fall at Longchamp.
Jockey William Buick is thankfully well and got up on his feet after the terrible incident.
It has been confirmed that Buick will not ride for the rest of the day.
But unfortunately the Godolphin-owned horse didn't make it after the tragic fall on the straight during the Group One Prix du Moulin de Longchamp.
Tributes are pouring on social media for the Charlie Appleby-trained 2000 Guineas winner Coroebus.
One fan tweeted: "Awful news – rest in peace, Coroebus.

The race was won by Ed Walker's Dreamloper but all the focus is on the tragic news of Coroebus' death.
The legendary three-year-old colt enjoyed tremendous success in the sport with four wins in seven flat turf races, three victories in six stakes and four first-place finishes in seven rules races.
Coroebus won over £2million for Godolphin throughout its scintillating career.
