LUKE Shaw received two yellow cards in the space of just 54 SECONDS during the Three Lions Euro 2024 qualifier against Italy.
Fortunately, the full-backs dismissal in the 80th minute didn't alter the outcome of the match in Naples.
Shaw was shown his first yellow card by referee Srdjan Jovanovic for time wasting.
Less than a minute later, he picked up his second booking for a foul on Italian forward Mateo Retegui.
Gareth Southgates' side went on to beat Italy 2-1 on the night, with goals from Declan Rice and Harry Kane.
The England captain broke Wayne Rooney's record and became his country's all-time record goalscorer.

Likely candidates are Ben Chilwell or right-back Kieran Trippier, who is comfortable filling in on his less preferred side.
Shaw is expected to return to Carrington in the coming days and link up with his United teammates who aren't currently on international duty.
It comes as a boost to Manchester United as the full-back will now have an extended rest before Premier League action returns.
