The Lionesses comfortably booked their spot in the Euro 2022 final having thrashed Sweden at Bramall Lane.

The total prize money for the Women's Euro 2022 is a staggering £13.7 million.
However, England will reportedly receive a total of £1.3m pay-out should they win the competition.

And according to reports, each player will bank a total of £55,000 from the Football Association.

In 2020, the FA released a statement mentioning that they now pay women who represent England on the international stage, the same as the men.
The statement read: “The FA pays its women’s players exactly the same as their male counterparts for representing England, both in terms of match fees and match bonuses.
“This parity has been in place since January 2020.”

England players reportedly receive a match fee of around £2000 which is usually donated to charity.
When is the Women's Euro 2022 final?
- The showpiece event will take place on Sunday, July 31 where England will be awaiting the winners of Germany vs France.
- It is scheduled to kick off at 5pm UK time.
- Wembley Stadium in London is the allocated arena for this huge showing and can hold a staggering 90,000 supporters.
- This match will replace the Community Shield encounter between Liverpool and Man City which is now being played at the King Power Stadium.
