HULL CITY are working with police to investigate an incident involving club mascot Amber who was allegedly "grabbed inappropriately" by a fan.
Amber is one of the Championship side's two mascots alongside fellow tiger Roary – with the pair parading around the pitch ahead of games at the MKM Stadium.
But the Daily Star have now revealed they will no longer go over to one section of the ground following an incident which has garnered attention on social media.
A photo appears to show a man – allegedly a Hull City supporter – grabbing the head of Amber and pulling her down to his crotch as he laughs at the camera.
And the incident was brought up in Hull’s adult supporters’ committee meeting on April 26.
The club's North Stand representative Colleen Ward confirmed: "Club mascots Roary and Amber won’t go over to fans in the North Stand."

Fan engagement manager Natasha Chapman then added: "They are reluctant following a serious incident where one of them was grabbed inappropriately by a fan."
A statement from the club read: "The club is investigating the incident and working with the police.
"We take such matters with the utmost seriousness and do not tolerate anti-social behaviour of any kind.
"The club is committed to ensuring the MKM Stadium is a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for staff and fans alike and will be taking the appropriate action against the individual responsible."

3And Humberside Police said: "We have been made aware of an image circulating on social media and we will be carrying out enquiries to assess if any offences have been committed."
Meanwhile, the individual in question has been slammed for his actions by those on social media.
One person responded: "Absolutely disgraceful behaviour."
Another added: "They need banning that’s disgraceful."
And a third replied: "This is wrong, so baddd."
Hull finished 15th in the Championship, two years after returning to the second tier following promotion from League One.
