IONA STEPHEN once had dreams of becoming a professional golfer only for a wrist injury to stop her.
She is now working in the sport as a presenter for Sky Sports.
Iona regularly fronts the broadcaster's coverage of the DP World Tour and majors such as The Open and The Masters.
However, she had once aspired to have been on the other side as a professional golfer.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Iona revealed what she went through to get to where she is now.
She wrote: "I guess the lesson is…whatever life throws at you, keep going if you can…as you never know what’s around the corner.

The video showed her struggle with injury and how she underwent surgery to help her wrist.
She revealed that doctors told her that she would never play golf again, which saw her try to learn to play left-handed.
