FORMER footballer Eneko Fernandez once played under Pep Guardiola and now he is a MasterChef champion.

The 39-year-old won the eleventh edition of MasterChef Spain and celebrated afterwards with his wife and kids.

Fernandez played for a host of clubs including Barcelona B in the single season they were managed by club icon Guardiola.

He played 19 games in 2007-08, scoring once before a move to Ejea.

The right-winger also had spells at Alaves, Sabadell, Oviedo, Tudelano and Zaragoza B.

And while his footballing career never took off, Fernandez proved he has other talents up his sleeve.
