I’m a Premier League icon with more than £170MILLION in career earning… now I’m unemployed at 32 | The Sun

EDEN HAZARD is struggling to find a new club aged just 32.

The Chelsea legend departed Real Madrid earlier this summer following a disappointing four-year stint at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Hazard arrived in the Spanish capital in a blockbuster £130million transfer in 2019, having spent seven years starring at Stamford Bridge.

But he never managed to recreate his Chelsea form in Madrid, scoring just seven goals in 76 appearances during an injury-ravaged spell.

Hazard's talent has seen him earn a whopping £170m during his career.

But with domestic seasons about to start all over Europe, no club has yet found a place for the mercurial winger.

In June he vowed: "I'm still capable of being a professional footballer, my body can take it."

Hazard has been linked with Inter Miami, as well as teams back in Belgium, his homeland.

According to the Mail, the two-time Premier League winner is "weighing up his options" and could even retire.

Spanish outlet AS, meanwhile, report that he is considering a move to Brazil, Saudi Arabia or MLS.

Hazard joined Chelsea in 2012 after bursting onto the scene with French side Lille.

He went on to play 352 times for the Blues – scoring 110 goals and laying on 92 assists.

The Stamford Bridge favourite also excelled for his country, most notably helping Belgium to the World Cup semi-finals in 2018.

But following their group stage exit in Qatar last year, Hazard retired from international football with 126 caps.
