ILIE NASTASE is a two-time Wimbledon finalist who reportedly slept with "thousands of women" despite being married five times.
The Romanian former tennis player was ranked number one in the world and won two Grand Slams during the 1970s.
However, he was never able to add the Wimbledon trophy to his US Open and French Open triumphs.
Nastase had success with women off the court, though, ranking sixth in Maxim's list of "Living Sex Legends" in 2006.
His alleged tally of 2,500 sexual partners saw him listed above actor Jack Nicholson and below singer Engelbert Humperdinck.
The claim of 2,500 women – the equivalent of one a day for seven years – had been made in Nastase's autobiography.

However, he later admitted that the figure had been exaggerated for the book.
He told the Daily Mail in 2014: "I like women. I love women. It is normal to love a woman.
"It wasn’t that many. It was exaggerated for my autobiography. They wanted a big number — to make it sell better.
"I don’t know — 300, 400? I never added them up — it didn’t feel right. How could I remember?

"Anyway, what does it matter — 2,500 or 500, they’re not going to give me a medal, are they? And there were a lot of misses.
"I didn’t score. Sometimes I’m very tired because I have to play tennis. And a lot of people turn me down!"
The 76-year-old has also been married five times, first tying the knot in 1972 when he wed Belgian model Dominique Grazie.
He and Dominique had a daughter together before splitting in 1982, two years before Nastase married American actress Alexandra King.
The couple adopted two children together during their 18-year marriage.
Nastase was later married to Romanian models Amalia Teodosescu and Brigitte Sfat, although neither marriage lasted longer than six years.
He has been married to Ioana Simon for the last four years after tying the knot for a fifth time in 2019.
On the court, Nastase was a beaten finalist at Wimbledon in 1972 and 1976.
However, he did taste glory in the doubles and mixed doubles, winning three titles in four years during the 1970s.
