OWEN COYLE went from hitting the big screen with Robert Duvall to being a Premier League boss and he now manages in India.
The Scot was a top-flight gaffer from 2009 to 2012 as he took charge of both Burnley and Bolton.
But during his playing days at Dunfermline Athletic, he starred in movie A Shot at Glory.
The film released in 2002 is about fictional Scottish Second Division club Kilnockie FC as they aim to reach the cup final.
It features Duval, who played Tom Hagen in The Godfather, as the team's manager.
Ally McCoist has an acting role in the film as a veteran player that has fallen down the football pyramid and is married to the boss' daughter.

Coyle plays himself in a cameo role as one of Kilnockie's star strikers.
Award-winning actors Micheal Keaton, Brian Cox and Cole Hauser are all cast in A Shot at Glory.
The movie received mixed reviews, scoring a 6.2/10 on IMDb.
After Coyle time as a movie star and a Premier League manager, he then took jobs at Wigan, Houston Dynamo, Blackburn and Ross County.

But in 2019, the 57-year-old made a shock move to two-time Indian Super League champions Chennaiyin.
Just 15 matches later he left the club and spent a further two years in Asia with Jamshedpur.
Coyle returned to his homeland last season with Queen's Park but now finds himself back in India after returning to Chennaiyin.
They currently sit bottom of the league after three matches.
