Centre-back Philipp Lienhart missed Austria's first two Nations League games with a fever and it remains to be seen whether he will return for this one.
Ralf Rangnick will have to decide whether to stick with the 4-2-3-1 formation or revert to the 3-4-1-2 that proved so successful in Croatia.
Marko Arnautovic, Sasa Kalajdzic and Karim Onisiwo will be competing for the starting berths up front.
Raphael Varane has been withdrawn from the France squad through injury and replaced with Liverpool's Ibrahima Konate.
Kylian Mbappe could return to the starting line-up after missing the Croatia game with a minor knee injury while N'Golo Kante may also return to the starting XI.
