Cashed out for £34.68

If all 18 selections won, the mystery bettor would take home a life-changing £31,294!

But, unfortunately, that didn't transpire.

This punter decided to cash out for £34.68 with less than 10 minutes of normal time remaining.

At that point, both Aston Villa and Tottenham were both trailing 1-0 to Crystal Palace and Sheffield United, while several other sides were leading by a one-goal margin.

Furthermore, Newcastle and Barcelona were in action later that evening.

One two-goal turnaround is difficult enough to land, let alone two at the same time with precious little time left to play.

But shortly after this Sky Bet customer hit the Cash Out button – Colombian forward Jhon Duran equalised for Villa and 12 additional minutes of injury time were held up at Tottenham.

With all the other 3pm selections now confirmed as winners, this luckless bettor would have been desperate for the final whistle.

But again, that didn't transpire…

Aston Villa's Douglas Luiz slotted home a 98th-minute penalty to give Villa the lead, while his compatriot Richarlison headed home the equaliser for Spurs in north London.

The Brazilian then turned provider for Dejan Kulusevski, who fired home a winner two minutes later to complete an amazing turn-around.

And of course, Newcastle and Barcelona won later that evening.
