Jack Grealish wins battle for huge makeover of £5.6m mansion – with juice bar, pool, gym and spa | The Sun

INJURY prone Jack Grealish has won his battle to build a leisure suite at his £5.6million Cheshire mansion – complete with his own treatment room.

The Man City and England midfielder, who has just recovered from a knee injury, wants to splash out on a new gym and swimming pool at his seven-bedroom country pile.

The luxury facility will also boast a cold plunge pool, sauna, steam room and juice bar with a dedicated games room above the garage.

But he hit a snag after a bat roost was found and conservationists called for a survey of the protected species.

He was told to build a bat roost and bird boxes at his sprawling estate which boasts a 24-hour heli-pad, championship tennis court, golf green and fly fishing lake.

But this week, officials at his local council ruled the proposed development 'on-side' after there were no objections from neighbours.

It comes as the £100million signing battles back to full fitness following a dead leg sustained in a clash with Sheffield United in August, and could make his return in tonight's Champions League clash away to Swiss side Young Boys.

Grealish said: "Apart from the kidney injury I had six years ago, it was the most painful injury I've had.

"You might all laugh at me now, it was only a dead leg, but it was the worst dead leg I have had in my life.

"I get so many of them over the years and I am usually good at taking them, taking the hits and stuff."

It boasts grand entrance and reception halls, a galleried landing, family room, orangery, drawing room, entertainment and games room, library, study and boot room.

There is also a master bedroom with a dressing room, basement wine store, a triple garage for his collection of flash motors, luxury dog kennels and a separate two-bedroom cottage.

The property also includes a Japanese water garden, off-road cycle track, vegetable plot and ample space for a football or cricket pitch.
