Jake Paul reveals planned date for Tommy Fury rematch ahead of showdown with UFC legend Nate Diaz | The Sun

JAKE PAUL has revealed the targeted date for his rematch with Tommy Fury.

The YouTuber turned boxer suffered a split decision defeat to the Brit in their long-awaited grudge match in February.

The Problem Child has been gunning for revenge since suffering his first professional defeat, which he hopes to avenge the same time next year.

In a scathing rant at bitter rival KSI, Paul tweeted: "This clown… tried to fight D***o Dan [Dillon Danis] who has never boxed and put a dehydration clause on him.

"Fought a 40-year-old who hadn’t fought for 3 years and put a rehydration clause on him before elbowing him.

"Now trying to squeeze Tommy.

"I elevated Tommy, my son is now worth a lot more than the $1.5M offers you making. Tommy, February we run it back.”

Former Love Island star Fury is open to running it back with Paul but insists the fight will be on his terms.

During a recent appearance on Soccer AM, the 24-year-old said: "I'm down for the rematch.

"I'll fight him tomorrow, it's not an issue.

"But does he want it now? I'm not so sure.

"He was the one barking up the hill, but I'm sitting on the top of that hill now.

"So it's my call."

Paul, 26, must first get past former UFC lightweight title challenger Nate Diaz before he can think about rematching Fury.

The former Disney star is set to throw down with Diaz in a Dallas dust-up in August and is confident of getting back in the win column in emphatic fashion.

He said: "This is a big fight, this is a fight that I wanted for a long time.

"He got out of his UFC contract and this is probably the biggest fight of the year only topping me versus Tommy [Fury].

"So I want to make big events, big fights happen and strike while the iron's hot.
