NEWCASTLE are the favourites to sign Leicester and England attacking midfielder James Maddison in the summer.
That's according to Sky Bet, who've priced Eddie Howe's side at 2/1 to clinch his signature during the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old will have spent five seasons with the east Midlands club come the end of the season, and with only a year remaining on his current deal, Leicester could look sell the midfielder this summer.
The Foxes are having a troublesome season, and face a very real threat of relegation, with the club currently managerless and down in 19th in the table at the time of writing, having lost six of their last seven matches.
Leicester have finished fifth in two of the last three Premier League campaigns, and such big drop off this season, along with potential relegation could see an exodus of some of their highly regarded players, most notably Maddison.
Newcastle are deemed to be the most likely side to prize the England international from the Foxes.
Eddie Howe's team have impressed many this season, exceeding expectations by reaching the Carabao Cup final, and are very much in the frame for their first top four finish since 2003.
The Magpies are currently third in the table, having beaten their fellow top four rivals Manchester United 2-0 on Sunday.
The club are bound to strengthen further in the summer, with the club's new owners certain to back the manager in the transfer window.
Some big names could be on the way to Tyneside during the summer, especially if they do manage to secure Champions League football.

Manchester City have also been mentioned a lot regarding a potential move for Maddison.
Pep Guardiola's side are in the midst of a title race with Arsenal and are currently eight points behind the Gunners with a game in hand in their bid to win a fifth league title in six seasons.
Should the Citizens fall short in their title chase this time out, Pep will be likely go into the market to strengthen some areas of his squad, and Maddison could well be on his shopping list.
The playmaker has the ability to play as an attacking midfielder or on either wing, similar to the type of player Jack Grealish was when City signed him in the summer of 2021, and Maddison could be seen as a similar prospect.
The reigning Premier League champions are priced at 5/1 to sign the midfielder, just ahead of Tottenham at 6/1.
The north London club have struggled to find creativity going forward despite them being in the hunt for a top four position.
Spurs lack a player who can play as a number 10 behind Harry Kane, and new attacking midfielder could be one of the positions the new manager will look for in the transfer market once appointed.
Tottenham's closest rivals Arsenal are also in the picture at 9/1, while Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are all outside bets at 14/1, 16/1 and 25/1 respectively.
