WEST HAM are still favourites to sign England international Jesse Lingard, but there's new competition from Wayne Rooney's DC United.
That's according to Spanish newspaper Marca, who claim DC United are one of multiple MLS clubs to have made a proposal for the 29-year-old.

Lingard is available on a free transfer after his contract was allowed to expire at Manchester United.
The Warrington-born attacker scored 35 goals and provided 21 assists in 231 appearances for the Red Devils.
He won the FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Europa League during his stay at the Theatre of Dreams.
But a fresh challenge awaits.
Sky Bet have West Ham as the standout frontrunners for his signature at 8/11.
Lingard scored nine goals and provided five assists in 16 appearances during his loan spell at West Ham.
And manager David Moyes is understandably eager to secure his services ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

Frank Lampard shortlisted Lingard as a target to replace Richarlison, who joined Tottenham for £60million.
Newcastle are next at 7/1, ahead of LA Galaxy (9/1), Inter Miami (10/1) and Los Angeles FC (12/1).
Having been confirmed manager earlier this week, Rooney's DC United are offered at 16/1.
Rooney played 46 times alongside Lingard, and the pair linked up twice for England at international level.
