KYLE WALKER is set to stay at Manchester City this summer after performing a transfer U-turn, according to reports.
The England defender has been strongly linked with a move to Bayern Munich this summer.
Last month it was claimed that Walker had verbally agreed to join the Bundesliga champions on a two-year deal.
But according to the Mail, the 33-year-old has now decided to stay at City following "fresh talks" with boss Pep Guardiola.
Walker went out for dinner with his manager on Friday night.
The duo dined at swanky Japanese restaurant MUSU in Manchester.

Guardiola and Walker spent around two and half hours out together, before hugging as they said their goodbyes.
Earlier on Friday, Guardiola had admitted that Walker has been crucial for his all conquering Man City side.
Of the full-back and team-mate Bernardo Silva, he said: "They are so important to us.
“We want them and will do everything.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that Walker is now close to accepting a new deal at Man City, tabled within the last 24 hours.
The former Tottenham star had previously turned down a fresh deal at the Etihad earlier this summer.
Walker captained City in Sunday's Community Shield defeat to Arsenal on Sunday.
He has made 255 appearances in total for City since joining from Spurs in 2017.
In this time he has won five Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups and last season's Champions League.
