    Behind enemy defensive lines

Wesley Fofana was part of that FA Cup-winning side in 2021 – while Ben Chilwell had a last-gasp equaliser ruled out for Chelsea.

Now the former Leicester team-mates are together at Stamford Bridge.

And with both men returning to fitness, they are set to start for Chelsea this afternoon against their former employers.

It is safe to say, they will not get the warmest of receptions from the home fans.

    FA Cup memories for Foxes

Two years ago, Leicester won the FA Cup for the first time in their history.

The Foxes beat Chelsea 1-0 at Wembley in one of the first matches with fans in attendance since the Covid lockdowns.

Youri Tielemans' thunderstrike proved the difference, firing into the top corner to settle the final.

But the influential Belgian, out of contract this summer, will not be playing today after being ruled out for six weeks with an ankle injury.

Gary's gonna be in the ground

With his Match of the Day presenting role suspended by the BBC, Gary Lineker finds himself with a rare free Saturday.

And he is spending the day in the best way possible – travelling up from his London home to go and watch his beloved side in action.

Lineker, 62, wept when he learned of his BBC colleagues' boycott to stand with him in solidarity in the ongoing row.

But he will be desperately hoping it is tears of joy at the King Power come 5pm.

      Good afternoon and welcome

A week is a long time in football, isn't it?

This time seven days ago, Graham Potter was fighting for his job, desperate for a win and Gary Lineker was preparing to host Match of the Day.

Fast forward to today and Chelsea are looking to make it three wins on the spin.

The Blues earned crucial victories over Leeds and Borussia Dortmund to ease pressure on Potter and book a spot in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Now they head on the road – well actually in the air having made the very short flight to the East Midlands yesterday – to face a Leicester side in disarray.

Brendan Rodgers' side have lost four matches since thumping Tottenham 4-1 on February 11.

That has seen the Foxes dumped out of the FA Cup and just two points above the relegation zone.
