LEVI COLWILL has aimed a thinly-veiled swipe at Thomas Tuchel.
That’s after agreeing a new six-year contract at Chelsea.
Colwill, 21, has put doubts over his future to rest by striking fresh terms with his boyhood club.
Brighton were keen on signing the defender permanently following last season’s loan transfer.
There was additional interest from Liverpool and Man City too, with Colwill concerned over his playing time under Mauricio Pochettino.
But, after being guaranteed a regular starting spot, Colwill has now reportedly put pen to paper on a new six-year contract.

However, Colwill appeared to take aim at former Chelsea boss Tuchel by thanking Graham Potter and the Seagulls for taking a chance on him last term.
Tuchel rejected the chance to keep Colwill in his senior squad.
But fast forward a year later and he is now set to play a key role for Chelsea while also pushing for England honours.
